This restaurant based in west London, came runner up in the Caribbean Food and Drink Awards best Caribbean Restaurant competition.   Although they did not win,  high praise is deserved for the great comments made by their customers.   Samples of which appear below.

I would like to nominate Tyme restaurant  at West Ealing London 133 Uxbridge Road ,   W13 9AU as best Caribbean restaurant of the year as:

1.The atmosphere is fantastic intimate and warm and you feel safe and relax.  Most probably not great for their business, but we tend to go and stay there all evening whereas prior to finding this place we'd normally eat and run to the main event ie theatre etc.

2.The owners make you feel like part of the family.  I've always got a wonderful genuine welcome and a fond farewell.   You genuinely feel like royalty.  Its great!!!

3. they play a wide range of soul reggae and jazz music past and present classics plus there is excellent live piano music and if you're comfortable enough you can go up and perform as a guest ( its fantastic ,as every musical offering from clients is appreciated regardless of standard must admit I tried out myself.  It felt fantastic and did wonders for my esteem)

4. The food is excellent and reasonably priced.  We used go to many West Indian however now this is the only one because it is head and shoulders above the rest.

5. The decor is fantastic clean and very very classy, classy, classy . If you get a chance ( although sounds weird ) you must check out the toilets Decor is wonderful.

I have taken family clients and friends and they've all been amazed. Also when I foot the bill I look a hero as the ambience would lead you to believe you're eating in a very expensive place.

I must admit when i initially looked through the window into the restaurant I thought fantastic but was ready to drive by as I didn't think it was Caribbean and I felt even if it was I most probably could afford it.

My wise wife highlighted the fact it was Caribbean and suggested we drop in. Reluctantly I did go in and I recevied a warm welcome and excellent service.
THE REST IS HISTORY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It fantastic Tyme has paid attention to every detail!!

AT PRESENT ITS MY BEST KEPT SECRET!!!

I LOVE IT!!!!!

Such service is very rare particularly within a Caribbean restaurant. We used to frequent many Caribbean restaurants merely  for the love of the food and we had to sacrifice good service as a consequence.

BUT NO MORE TYME HAS THE FULL PACKAGE AT LAST!!!!!!!!!!

AT TYME you really do get champagne treatment for beer money!!!!!!!!!

PS if you know any better places please let me know !!!!I doubt it !!!!!!

I would like vote for a fantastic Caribbean restaurant I discovered in Ealing
called Tyme at 133 Uxbridge Road, W13.

The restaurant is run by Mr Trevor Campbell who was a fantastic host, and was very warm and welcoming to me and my guests. He also showed a great depth of knowledge for food and drink and directed me very professionally around the
menu options available.

Needless to say the food was excellent and each course was beautifully presented, fresh and flavour-ful.

I cannot recommend this restaurant enough and hope that my vote for it is considered.

Kind regards
Sunil Kapoor

Trevor and Lynne have created an atmosphere that really combines a family feeling with a professional image and excellent first impression. That is why they get my vote..."

Hello,

I wish to cast my vote for Tyme Restaurant for Caribbean restaurant of the year. The reason for my vote is very simple if you ate at this establishment. The food is superb no matter what dish you try & the presentation is of such a high standard I always associate it to being at the "Black Ritz". To top off any brilliant food you need excellent service which is what you get whenever I've ate at Tyme. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming which adds to the pleasantness of the environment. Also to finish off the wonderful experience you have the live music serenading you in the background with artists that have more talent in their little finger than all the contestants of Pop Idol put together.

Trust me it is that good & you should try it out if you haven't already.

Cheers

I wish to nominate the above establishment for the award of the best Caribbean restaurant North of the river.

The food is great - a fusion of Caribbean with European influences. Always fresh, properly cooked and well presented. Trevor and Lynn are terrific hosts and they make you feel cheerful even if you are depressed!

My vote for sure.
