The Caribbean

Succulent, juicy mangoes
Blue, ocean sea
Tall green palm trees
Yellow golden sand
Juicy green star fruit hanging
From the trees
Lovely calypso music
Golden sunset spreading on the beach

Sea

The sea is blue, crystal shimmering
Like glass moving slowly
Waves climbing calmly
Dolphins leaping very high
Doing forward flips in the sky

Exotic Fruit

Bananas hanging ready to pick
Coconuts falling from the tree
Guavas falling next to me
Mangos ripe and ready to eat

Good to Go
Banana and Coconut fresh from the tree
Everybody going to the market to buy some ackee
Jerk chicken made from pepper and spice
People queuing up for peas and rice

Steel pan playing while carnival is going on
Rastas are drumming and singing their song
Everybody doing pon de river, pon de bank, when the dancehall
Rhythm start to thump

Sunset on the beach
Where tourists like to chill
Catch the sun rays
And water-ski for thrills

Fishermen catch fish in the sea
It is hard to choose a fish for me
Parrot fish, flying fish and mackerel laying there
Tempting me to eat them with festival and avocado pear

Class: 5BL
