Television
Opportunity
In a proposed new food programme host David Chen aims to introduce
food products associated with the Caribbean.
Over the years we have seen where many new products are now gaining
a space on the shelves in our mainstream grocers and supermarkets
- the aim is to also be associated with that celebration - and be
proud of the products produced.
David Chen is Director of The Caribbean Connection and host of
BEN TV's flagship programme the Ben Breakfast Show (10am - 12
noon).
Are you interested in taking part in a TV series about Caribbean
Food and Drink. Ben TV are to undertake such a series and wish
to start filming in October 06. Ben is a black-owned TV station
which has been going for about 8 years. It broadcasts from on
sky digital platform 148, in the UK, and is shown across Europe.
If you are interested in being a part of the series, or would
like to suggest features, please do so now. Opportunities are
also available for sponsorship of the programmes from small and
large businesses. Without the aid of license fees, and strong
advertising as commanded by BBC or ITV respectively, businesses
who are likely to benefit need to support this smaller channel,
and realise the opportunity for TV advertising is much cheaper
than it would be on ITV, Channel 4 or Sky Sports.
The producer is keen to go on location, so your restaurant, factory,
shop, catering job or offices would be good backdrops, and extra
publicity. During filming, an ad can be created for your product,
which will be included in the sponsorship price.
Caribbean Food Emporium will work with Ben TV producers to ensure
the programmes promote Caribbean Cuisine to maximum effect, and
get best value for CCC members.
