Caribbean Scene - Update March 2005

Watch out for a great new restaurant called "Caribbean Scene" to be located in the heart of Stratford, East London. The first flag ship venue will be opened in October 2005.

Here is an update on the progress being made, and key objectives.

Caribbean Scene's objectives are:

1. a chain that provides the ultimate family friendly 'Caribbean Experience' with a target of 20 restaurants in major cities within the next 10 years;

2. a market leader combining a unique dining experience that draws inspiration from all islands of the Caribbean;

3. a place that draws on all the natural vibrant sights, sounds and qualities of the Caribbean combining it with modern clean lines; and

4. a place to enjoy a meal with business colleagues, family or friends.

Red Stripe Beer has now endorsed the Caribbean Scene concept by offering a very lucrative sponsorship contract. Other sponsorship contracts are currently being negotiated with major companies such as Wray and Nephew, Sandals etc. and the concept is supported by dignitaries such as Sir Robin Wales and Sir Trevor McDonald.

Funding for Caribbean Scene has been provided privately and through HSBC Bank. However, Patrick Marché, founder and MD of Caribbean Scene, is keen that the success of Caribbean Scene should be shared with the Caribbean Community and people genuinely interested in Caribbean Culture.
