Caribbean Food Emporium/CCC is supporting the Ethnic & Speciality Food Exhibition this year on 29th & 30th November at ExCeL London, by encouraging as many companies as possible to take part. During this event, we will also be holding the 4th Caribbean Food and Drink Conference, and Awards show… at Excel. There will also be demonstrations from Caribbean Chefs. We believe that this event is the perfect forum from which to put Caribbean Food and Drink firmly on the map. Caribbean food no longer needs to take a back seat. Effective marketing needs to compete with core ethnic segments such as Thai or Indian Food. As you know at CFE we believe that Caribbean food and drink industry is one of the most important and vibrant segments of the rapidly growing ethnic food sector. For this reason and more we are proud to host a dedicated Caribbean food pavilion at the show in November. There is room for 6 or more companies to showcase their latest product line to a fantastic line up of buyers coming to the show from the retail and food service sectors in the UK. This is a trade show, and showcasing your products will mean that buyers from supermarkets, independent chains, wholesalers, cash and carries as well as buyers from the NHS, Schools and Universities and more will have first hand opportunity to taste and sample your products. World Food Market – the organisers of this event have a marketing budget of £100,000, so you know the right people will visit the event. Expect to come away with 3 – 4 big contacts/deals, and hundreds of prospects who will know you exist, and consider buying your product or service in the future. I visited the show last year, and for the first time at any food show, I saw a very large contingent from the Kosher food sector, and the Halal food sector. Come on guys, let’s make our presence felt! The show attendees come from mainstream and ethnic buying channels. Testimonials from people who attended last year’s World Food Market "I've
seen really good buyers from the USA and distributors from Australia
and Ireland too. I've met a buyer here from Switzerland that I've
been trying to see for some time. Plus I've seen a Turkish distributor
here that has made my day. We've had discussions before but now
he wants my products. The advertising and promotion in the run
up to the show has been very good; I even made contacts in advance
of the event from people who found my company details through
the World Food Market website. I've been inundated here. The UK
has needed an event like this." "We
are extremely pleased with the show. We have seen school, prison
and university suppliers and even big supermarkets like Asda and
Tesco. We even have some meetings lined up for the second day
of the exhibition." "We
have seen the right calibre of people throughout the two days.
We had a great show - well done!" There are more quotes on the World Food Market Website. www.wfmlondon.com Express your interest, and reserve your space now. Or consider sponsoring or sharing a space with another company.
