of the Caribbean at IFE 2003

the first time there will be a large scale Caribbean Food and
Drink Presence at the Trade Event IFE.

- At the
International Food Exhibition (IFE) 2003 to be held in the Excel
Exhibition Centre - Docklands, over 100 square metres of space
will be taken up by suppliers advertising Caribbean Food and
Drink.

- This
initiative is being sponsored by the Knowledge Centre on Black and
Minority Ethnic Businesses, a unit within Business Link For
London, and supported by the EQUAL programme, a European programme
dedicated to improving opportunities for employment and
self-employment for ethnic minorities.
Caribbean Food Emporium is the coordinator of this
initiative.

over the world. There will be major representations
from all over the world, including: the Italian Food Industry, the
Spanish Food Industry, the Indian Food Industry, The Chinese Food
Industry, The British Food Industry.

The festivals will run
for 8 weeks in July and August, 2003, on
Friday evenings 3pm – 10pm.
There is a Bandstand where live jazz will be played.
A Jerk competition will be held towards the end of the
festival.
