Caribbean Food Emporium is organising a number of Caribbean Food and Drink Companies to exhibit at the International Food Exhibition at Excel in March.   The event takes places from the Monday,  23rd March to Wednesday, 26th March 2003.

IFE is a trade event.   If you are involved in the retail trade, restaurant trade, caterer or hotelier - it is an event you should not miss.

Business Link are paying for a 70 square metre prime spot in the exhibition hall, to enable up to 12 companies to exhibit under the banner "London Taste of the Caribbean".   For more details, contact Dawn Grant of Caribbean Food Emporium.

There is likely to  be another group of Caribbean Companies many of whom are based overseas. This group will be called, 'Caribbean Fusion'. JAMPRO is subsidising exhibiting space for Caribbean Food and Drink Companies from Jamaica, who wish to come over for Caribbean Fusion.   If you're company is based outside the UK, contact Marcya Grant from the Jamaica Trade Commission.     Companies from Trinidad and Barbados, will also have a presence at the Exhibition.

Business Link For London which provides a business advisory service to Small-Medium enterprises in London, will be fully  sponsoring the project. The business development department based at Centre Point, Oxford Street, London, is encouraging take up of their subsidised support services through sponsorship of events and organising seminars etc.

It is believe that Caribbean food is an emerging force which is not yet truly recognised as a force in the mainstream yet hence various government funding bodies such as EQUAL or European Funds,  are helping to showcase some of the local businesses producing Caribbean Foods to get exposure to other buyers and suppliers in the General Food Trade. Business Link will also have on hand expert advisers in international trade, manufacturing and restaurants or catering.

There will be a wide representation from the Asian and Chinese Food Business sector, as well as French, Italian, Spanish etc.... This will be the largest Caribbean presence at a food show in Britain.    The Exhibitor List continues to grow.
