Green Banana Porridge

Ingredients 
4 cups water
1 cup coconut milk
3 green bananas, peeled and grated (or blended)
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons flour
1 cup milk
sugar to taste

Preparation

  1. Add the water and coconut milk to the grated green bananas and beat (or use a blender) the mixture well until it is free of lumps.

  2. Bring it to boil, then lower the heat, and simmer for 15 minutes.

  3. Add the nutmeg, vanilla, salt and the flour - mixed first with a little water.   Stir  in the milk and add     sugar to taste.   

  4. Continue to simmer, stirring well, until the porridge thickens to the desired consistency.
