Green Banana Porridge

- Ingredients
- 4 cups water
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 3 green bananas, peeled and grated (or blended)
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup milk
- sugar to taste

Preparation

Add the water and coconut milk to the grated
green bananas and beat (or use a blender) the mixture well until
it is free of lumps.

Bring it to boil, then lower the heat, and
simmer for 15 minutes.

Add the nutmeg, vanilla, salt and the flour -
mixed first with a little water. Stir in the
milk and add sugar to
taste.

Continue to simmer, stirring well, until the
porridge thickens to the desired consistency.
