The versatility of Sweet Potato

Boiled sweet potato Boil in slightly salted water, with or without skin.
Baked sweet potato Wash carefully.   Roast in oven with skin on.
Sweet potato chips Peel, and cut as chips.  Deep fry.   They cook in a shorter time than ordinary chips.
Mashed sweet potatoes Boil then mash with a little butter.
Sweet potato and coconut soup Boil with seasoning and a little butter.  Blend.   Add coconut milk in the end.

Candied sweet potatoes 1 kg sweet potatoes, 50 g butter, 1 tablespoon brown sugar, 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg, 1/2 cup water.   Boil potatoes, then slice and arrange in layers in a buttered baking dish.   Sprinkle each layer with nutmeg and sugar, and dot with butter.   Add water, and sprinkle top with sugar.   Bake for 40 minutes.
Add sweet potato to any soup Thickens, and adds flavour.
Add sweet potato to a duckanoo mix Gives body.
