aim of Caribbean Food and Drink Expo will be to raise awareness
of Caribbean Food and Drink in the UK.
The event will celebrate the diversity of Caribbean food
available, and
its benefits.

lively and fun day is envisaged with activities for all.
This will be a Showcase of Caribbean Food and Drink.

Inter-Island Caribbean Chef competition
-
- The
competition will be hosted by Geoff Schumann. Chefs
from the Caribbean Food Industry,
will be asked to prepare a three course meal for two in 50
minutes. Judges
will assess the menu,
style, methods and presentation.

- Chefs
will be interviewed before the competition starts.
-
- Prepared
meals will be displayed for public viewing. Winners
will receive prizes
from a celebrity guest.
- Prizes
for the top 3 include:
Cash prizes and Certificate.

competitors include: Colin Carr, Colin Brown, Marie Morrison and
Richard Harris

Dining Experience
Fine
Dining Caribbean Sunday lunch prepared by celebrity Caribbean chefs.
(optional extra @ £25 ).
There are two sittings,
1pm, and 3.30pm.

and Workshops will start from 12 noon.
Chef
demonstrators include, Reynold
Antoine of Fats Restaurant, Brian Benjamin of BB Crabbacks Restaurant,
Rosamund Grant, Renowned author, and Alesha Nicholson
and the Curryman will be doing demonstrations.
Space
will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

will also be a Presentation about French Caribbean
Cuisine facilitated by the French Caribbean Association.
