Have you heard the name Cottons? ********************************* Serving the finest in modern Caribbean cuisine, Cottons Restaurant has a warm and vibrant atmosphere. The bar offers a range of 65 different rums from the Caribbean islands, together with a tantalizing cocktail list. The inspirational menu is a reflection of the wonderful new flavours of Caribbean cuisine. Cottons has recently been awarded with a red star from Time Out magazine. Cottons is one of the most famous Caribbean Restaurants in London. Situated in Camden, North London - it is at the heart of what is happening and hip. Try walking through Camden Market on a Sunday afternoon. If people- watching is your thing - then this is your view. The streets are teeming with people. Cottons was first established in 1986. It flourished well, and people travelled from all over London to sample the good food and rum. In 2000, it changed management, and underwent a complete refurbishment. Following the re-launch in April 2000, it has gone from strength to strength. The chef has two professional Head chefs. The first is Laurent Desiree who won the Caribbean Masterchef competition in March 2002. Laurents influence is from the Hispanic Magheurita. The second chef is Didier Le Berre who was also finalist at the Masterchef awards. Didier is of French origins and is classically trained. There
are 3 dining rooms, and a total of 80 people can be seated.
It is a favourite haunt of celebrities. As recently as
