Who We Are

The impetus for the formation of this organisation was spearheaded by Caribbean Food Emporium, after discussions held at the Caribbean Food and Drink Conference in November 2002.  An illustrious group of Caribbean Food  business owners were invited to a series of meetings,  to form an organization devoted to improving the appreciation, understanding, and accessibility of Caribbean food and drink.   The new association is the political and charitable wing of the Emporium that  will develop a life of its own.

Caribbean Food Emporium wishes to thank the group of 18 people who  have given time,  voluntarily to get this organisation on the road.    Meetings were always advertised over the website, and up to 40 people had the opportunity to be involved in the set up.
