Hello from Caribbean Food Emporium!

Hope you are having a great day!

----------------------------------
1. When was your last Caribbean Meal?  What was it?
----------------------------------
2. Do you have any restaurant or Take Away stories.
We would like to add a restaurant review section to
the web site.     Please send your contributions,  or
call us and tell us about your experiences.
-------------------------------------------------------
3. There is a debate raging about  a survey which
states that many Caribbean youths  prefer to eat fast
foods (such as fish and chips, Big Mac or KFC)  rather
than Caribbean Food.    Ouch.   There is a reasoned
response to these findings on the Website, under the
News Section and Editor's Articles.     Are Caribbean
Parents passing on traditions?   Is there enough
knowledge of the traditions to pass on?

Some of the figures in the survey are rather
unbelievable, but you've heard what they said about
statistics.   There are lies, damned lies and
statistics.
----------------------------------------

4. Comments by yourself - whether positive or negative
are welcome.   Also, if you wish to add an article or
recipe to the website,  please do.
--------------------------------------

5. This month the following media organizations have

6. If you are visiting the Notting Hill Carnival,
have a great time.   Hope you manage to get lots of
great food.   Let us know your Carnival Food Stories -
this year, or in the past.    I went to the Carnival
preview showcase on Saturday at the Royal Opera House.
Good Day out.   There were some food stalls
upholding the Caribbean Tradition in the Covent Garden
Square.   Well Done to those hard working people.   Of
course I had to give my custom.    I had Rice and Peas
and Curry Chicken.
------------------------------------

7. The number of visitors to the site continues to
grow.   In one day, we have had  more than 5,000 hits,
from 400 visitors.    The site has received over
quarter of a million hits.  Thanks to everyone for
their support.   Its great that there are so many
people interested in Caribbean Food.
