Caribbean Cuisine at Addington Palace

Euten Lindsay is Executive Head Chef at Addington Palace. He heads the highly skilled team specialising in various cuisines, including Caribbean, European, African or Asian. He is able to compliment events with clients' choice of catering or create a fusion combining different ethnic tastes. Without doubt it is the best weddings and functions venue in Surrey.

Euten had previously owned a Caribbean Restaurant in Central London - Neal's Yard, back in the 80's.

Caribbean Menus are extremely popular at Addington Palace, and not just with Caribbean clients. Euten has a selection of traditional, and unique dishes, with a great list of finger foods to delight guests.

Located near Croydon Surrey, with a colourful past that pre-dates the Domesday Book, Addington Palace is set in 163-acres landscaped grounds in Surrey.

King Henry VIII courted Anne Boleyn and had a hunting lodge here, the Palace then became the country retreat for six Archbishops of Canterbury, subsequently generations of musicians trained here when the building housed the Royal School of Church Music.

Addington Palace has nine individually designed rooms, the focal point being the magnificent Great Hall with its exquisite French chandelier, hand-carved architrave and silk wall coverings. Also on offer is a permanent Royal Marquee, lined with cream fabric the flexible space has gold dimmer chandeliers and flame up lighters. The Marquee, located beside a 200 year old Cedar of Lebanon tree can seat 150 to 750 guests.

As well as being ideal for Conference, Exhibition, Banquets and Team Building Activities the venue is licensed for Civil Ceremonies with excellent facilities for Wedding Receptions.

The bar is open to the public, its worth a visit to enjoy the ambience, view the countryside surroundings, hold meetings or rendezvous. The venue also has a health club. Euten plans the menu for the entire site.

Addington Palace won best non-Caribbean venue serving Caribbean Cuisine in the 2006/07 Caribbean Food and Drink Awards. Euten can take all the credit for that award. Keep up the good work Euten. We are proud of you.
